Content License: Clipart and Images

This page explains how you may use the clipart and images included in the Qstomizer libraries, including the Premium collection, on the products you sell.

1. Where the images come from

The clipart and images included in Qstomizer have been curated from public collections where they are published as Public Domain or under the Creative Commons Zero (CC0 1.0) dedication. When building the libraries we deliberately left out images containing logos, brand names or other trademarks.

2. What you can do
  • Commercial use: you may use the clipart and images on products you sell, including products personalized by your customers with the Qstomizer tool.

  • No attribution required: you don't need to credit Qstomizer or the original author.

  • No sales limits: there is no cap on the number of units or the revenue of products using these images.

  • Modifications: you and your customers may resize, recolor, combine and otherwise modify the images as part of a design.

3. What you cannot do

The libraries are provided so that the images can be used as part of the products you and your customers design. Please do not resell or redistribute the clipart and images on their own, for example as a clipart pack, an image collection, a stock image library or digital downloads of the image files.

4. When your subscription ends

Products you have already created and orders you have already sold are not affected: there are no retroactive restrictions. The only change is that the libraries included in your plan, such as the Premium collection, are no longer available inside the app.

5. What this page does not cover
  • Your own content: clipart, images and fonts that you upload to Qstomizer remain your responsibility. Make sure you hold the rights to use them.

  • Your customers' uploads: images uploaded by your customers while personalizing a product are not part of the Qstomizer libraries and are not covered by this page.

  • Trademarks and people: Public Domain and CC0 cover the copyright of the artwork only. They do not grant rights over trademarks, logos or the likeness of identifiable people that may appear in an image.

6. Disclaimer

We take reasonable care to include only images published as Public Domain or CC0. However, the images are provided "as is" and we cannot guarantee the copyright status of every individual image. If a specific image is central to a product line, we recommend doing your own quick check.

7. Reporting an image

If you believe an image in our libraries should not be there (for example, a rights holder claims it), please contact us with the image name and the reason. We will review it and remove it from the libraries if needed.
